All cakes consist of ONE cake flavor, ONE filling flavor and ONE frosting flavor. Please note that specialty flavors are available at an additional cost. Vegan and gluten free options are currently not available.

Our baseline classic designed cakes start at $95. All custom designed cakes will adhere to the following order minimums

  • $160 minimum for fully customized design (7-12 servings)

  • $220 minimum for fully customized design (16-20 servings)

  • $300 minimum for fully customized design (25-30 servings)

  • Starts at $285 with classic design (25-36 servings.) This price does not include customizations. Additional price for customizations is based on the cost of materials, time and level of detail based on your request.

  • Starts at $430 with classic design (45-64 servings.) This price does not include customizations. Additional price for customizations is based on the cost of materials, time and level of detail based on your request.

  • Starts at $550 with classic design (50-76 servings.) This price does not include customizations. Additional price for customizations is based on the cost of materials, time and level of detail based on your request.

  • Starts at $865 with classic design (~120 servings.) This price does not include customizations. Additional price for customizations is based on the cost of materials, time and level of detail based on your request.

Order Inquiry

Please refer to the availability calendar and review our terms and conditions before submitting an order inquiry. Submitting an order inquiry does not secure your order. Inquiries will be responded to within 72 hours.  Upon receiving an invoice, client has 48 hours to submit the non-refundable 50% deposit to secure the date.  No dates will be held without payment.   Delivery is required for two-tier cakes and larger and additional fees will be applied based on mileage.  Local pick-up in Oakland for all standard one-tier cakes. 

New orders always open on the 1st of the month for the following month.  For example, April orders will open on March 1st.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Barika Bakes specializes in custom luxury buttercream cakes. All cakes are covered in our silky smooth swiss meringue buttercream frosting. Our custom designs range from glam floral designs to festive children’s cakes.

    We do not offer fondant or sculpted cakes at the moment.

  • We highly encourage clients to submit an order inquiry (hyperlink) at least 2 weeks in advance. Remember, new orders always open on the 1st of the month for the following month. For example, February orders would open on January 1st. Due to high volume, we typically close the order inquiry form within the first two weeks, so set your alarms for the 1st!

    Orders submitted less than 2 weeks from the event date will incur a rush fee.

  • We are centrally located in Oakland, California.

  • Delivery is only available for two or three-tier cakes. The delivery fee is based on mileage and will be added to your quote. Our standard one-tier cakes are available for Oakland pick-up only.

  • Respectfully, nah… For my anxiety (and yours) shipping is currently not available. Pick-ups in Oakland only.

  • While clients are welcome to submit “inspiration images,” we pride ourselves on creating unique custom cakes. We cannot commit to recreating original designs. However, we are happy to consult with you regarding color schemes, themes and special customization. Remember, the best thing you can do is give a baker creative freedom :)

  • We currently do not offer vegan or gluten free options.

  • Yes! We are excited to announce that we are now a vendor at local pop-up markets in Oakland/Berkeley. We often offer exclusive seasonal flavors at these events. Follow our Instagram @BarikaBakes page to stay up to date with upcoming events.
